I went to sally beauty supply and got the real wax like they use in salons, but what do I do about this…I can stand the pain, that isn’t an issue at all, but the last two times I did it (brazilian-butt and everything) I have gotten extremely bruised and alot of ingrown hairs…yeah its gross, but you know it happens…what is the deal with that? I don’t heat the wax up tootoo hot, but hot enough. and it just doesn’t turn out very, well pretty. wtf is going on or wrong that this keeps happening? any professional or personal experience tips will be greatly appreciated…thanks in advance!

Im going to have my legs waxed for the first time ever. I have never shaved either, because i have blonde hair so you cant usally see the hairs. Each hair is about a centimeter long. Im going to a beauty salon to have them waxed, only up to my knee. Willl it hurt, and can you give and example of what it will feel like?

Hmm.. I remember when I waxed my legs for the first time. Well,for me..to be honest.. it wasn’t very painful. You will feel a little discomfort but that’s all . Though..it’s different for every person.
It’s better if you never shaved. Good for you, never do that unless you have no other option. Women that usually shave their legs feel more pain when they wax.

The Ascendant is defined as the intersecting point between the Ecliptic ( Kranti Vritta ) & the Celestial Horizon ( Kshitija ). In Sanskrit it is known as Udaya Lagna. The Ecliptic is the path of the earth round the Sun. The origin of the Celestial Horizon is the Northern Horizon. The Original Point of the Ecliptic is 0 degrees Aries according to Western Astrology and is 0 degrees Beta Arietis ( Ashwini ) according to Vedic Astrology.

The Ascendant is the most important point in one’s horoscope. It represents the Wheel of Destiny. The Ascending Degree is known as the Lagna Bindu and all calculations are based on it. 180 degrees from it is known as the Descendant ( Astha Lagna ).

By Ascendant is meant the Eastern Celestial Horizon. The Descendant is the Western Celestial Horizon.

In Natal Astrology, only the Ascendant and the Lunar Ascendant figure largely. In Horary Astrology, along with the Ascendant and the Lunar Ascendant, three more Ascendants come into the picture. They are Base Ascendant ( Aroodha ), Veedhi and Chatra.

they have a "space saver" heater that heats up the wax that comes in little tubs. great investment not too expensive! i even think it’s on sale right now. they have different types of wax that comes in little tubs to fit in the heater, but the beeswax is usually fine for just about anything. they also have wax for sensitive skin, which i highly recommend if you’re doing it for the first time.

it’s different for everyone, but if you wax once a month, your hair will come in less and less, usually takes a month to come back in, and sometimes it will stop coming in alltogether if you do it for long enough.

they have pamphlets that you can use as a guide so you know you picked the right product for you. i don’t think the cold wax is as effective. make sure you test the temperature of the heated wax once you heat it up by putting a small dab on your wrist. it should be warm, but not burn.

don’t try to wax a huge area all at once. do small sections at a time, about 2-3 inches by 4-5 inches. i know you just want to get it over with, but this will give you the best results. press the muslin strip over the wax in the direction of your hair growth. brace yourself, hold your skin tight, and pull as fast as you can in the opposite direction of the hair growth.

i’ve never heard of a place that will do body waxing for $7. arms are usually about $30. you might want to go to a place to get it done for the first time, because it is not a pleasant experience.
