This can be used ...
This can be used everywhere it's great. It's easier to use strips with underarms and face. Just spread the wax where you want (make sure you clean the area really well first and dust it with baby powder or cornstarch) then spread a piece of cloth over it and then rip it off

I had same problem. ...
I had same problem. When it was hard I put the glass jar in the microwave for 1 minute and it soften. Waited 1 minute for it to cool and took a small amount out in hand. It was fairly sticky and a mess but kneaded it for a bit and then gave it a try and it worked perfectly :)

Try putting it in a ...
Try putting it in a bowl and stretching, pulling, and working it like taffy. It should turn a whiter color and be very sticky and stretchy. The try spreading it up your thigh and rip it down really fast. If it still won't pull off, try spreading and ripping with a butter knife. (check out my other video to see how to do this).
And to help wax not stick, dust your leg with cornstarch or baby powder.
Let me know if it works!

By the way, and ...
By the way, and just as a comment for "fun" here, please go out and rent the film "Caramel" to see a whole movie/plot set-up around a magical salon/circle of women friends that does this kind of waxing professionally.

PS: what's a guy doing here?...promised my girl i'd learn this for when we're on the road (eg brazilian amazon for next 1/2 year) and she can't easily find any decent salons. ;-)

In sensitive spots ...
In sensitive spots it can do that. It sounds like you cooked it right but sometimes it can get too warm and will start sticking. Try dusting the area to be waxed with cornstarch or baby powder. This will reduce stickiness and bruising
